Categories

Churdhar Trek is one of the most scenic and spiritual treks in Himachal Pradesh. Located on the border of Shimla and Sirmour districts, Churdhar Peak is the highest peak in the outer Himalayas with an elevation of 3,647 meters above sea level.

The trek is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is home to the famous Shri Churdhar Mahadev Temple. Surrounded by dense forests and panoramic mountain views, this journey offers a perfect blend of adventure and spirituality.

Our 1 Night / 2 Days Churdhar Trek package is thoughtfully designed to provide comfortable arrangements including camping, meals, and trekking assistance at an affordable price.

Churdhar is also known as Chur Chandni, meaning “Mountain of Snow Bangle,” as the peak often remains covered in snow during winters. According to mythology, this sacred place is associated with Lord Shiva and Shri Shirgul Maharaj.

It is believed that Adi Shankaracharya established the Shivling at this temple. The water flowing near the temple is considered holy and is believed to originate from divine sources. Devotees visit this sacred peak seeking blessings and spiritual peace.
